drills are available in two different finishes, SURFACE
TREATED ROLLED BLACK OXIDE and GROUND
POLISHED FLUTE. The surface treated increases abrasion
resistance, reduces the amount of chip welding and improves
the chip flow. The ground polished flute reduces the coefficient
of friction, and resists chip weld and abrasion. |
